Re: No compromise with terrorism
Prime Minister Sharon has declared yet again that there will be no compromise with terrorism. Professors for a Strong Israel has determined that, indeed, there has been no compromise with terrorism. Sharon's Israel is surrendering to terrorism. Examples of this equivocation are everywhere:
- Israel has allegedly defeated terrorism, but she accepts its dictates.
- Israel doesn't talk to murderers, but she embraces Muhammad Dahlan.
- Israel doesn't release terrorists, but is about to let Arafat out of his cage.
- Israel protects the Rule of Law, but permits Marwan Barghouti to manage negotiations from inside his prison cell.
- Israel enforces building regulations, but only against Jews.
- Israel holds high the banner of Zionism, but plans to destroy Jewish settlements in the Land of Israel.
- Israel sanctifies the memory of the Holocaust, but shakes hands with Holocaust deniers like Abu Mazen.
- Israel, together with the entire Free World, will continue to battle terrorism, except when the victims are Jews.
- Israel, together with the entire Free World, will continue to battle terrorism, but will give terrorism a state of its own.
Professors for a Strong Israel will stand with those who are faithful to the Land of Israel, who hold fast to outposts and settlements in the heartland. Any order the Prime Minister may give to cleanse these Jews from their homes is patently illegal, and we call on the Prime Minister to forget the idea.
