Re: Kfar Darom = Gush Etzion
Professors for a Strong Israel sees the latest decision of the government of ethnic cleansing, to expel the Jews of Kfar Darom, as a crime and a folly.
Even someone who opposes settlement beyond the Green Line should protest against this decision.
It decrees the destruction of a Jewish town whose founding preceded the establishment of the state, a town that was conquered and destroyed by the enemy during the War of Independence and founded anew after the Six Day War.
The government's flight from Kfar Darom bodes ill for the future of the towns of Gush Etzion, towns with a parallel history. All that is left is the "Auschwitz borders."
The Sharon-Peres government must be brought down immediately and the march of folly stopped.
