Not long ago Olmert finally realized that he is an unpopular Prime Minister (with approval ratings smaller than the statistical uncertainty). He then announced that he would stay in his seat because that's where his job is, as long as there is a single child in Sderot who can't sleep for fear of missiles, and as long as the state needs him. Olmert's tireless efforts to strengthen the Palestinian Terror Authority, and to weaken Israel, raise a question mark over him. Who, exactly, is he working for? Israel no longer requires his services, and we'd prefer that he go draw his salary elsewhere.
