Re: Israel is not Czechoslovakia

Professors for a Strong Israel has sent the Prime Minister a letter of support for his declaration that we will not be another Czechoslovakia. It was important that this position be publicly and firmly stated, in advance of any dangerous developments that Israel may face.

We deplore the media's perversion of the Prime Minister's words. Neither Bush nor Chamberlain was mentioned in the speech, and certainly no comparison between them was made before the media and the spokesmen of the Left got into the act.

Mr. Sharon's impressive declaration would be more convincing, however, if he would throw his own Chamberlain out of the Government.
