Re: Encouraging antisemitism
The flight from Gaza and the expulsion of the Jewish residents from their homes offer encouragement not just to terrorism but also to antisemitism.
The destruction of the synagogues by Sharon - with the backing of the judicial system - will foster attacks on Jews, on synagogues, and on Jewish cemeteries all over the world.
It will discourage aliya; it will further erode the public's faith in the judiciary.
Professors for a Strong Israel declares that the injury to the judicial system and to its standing in the public eye are yet another sacrifice to the idol of "disengagement," which demands victims from across the spectrum of life in Israel.
Sharon's Israel has lost its moral right to protest against antisemitism in other countries.
