Re: The Rule of Law applies to the legal system as well
Professors for a Strong Israel affirms the right of the Minister of Justice to appoint a director-general for the Ministry with whom he feels he can work closely.
The senior officials of the legal system, of all people, should understand that the Rule of Law and the standards of proper administration apply to them as well as to other public servants.
Theirs is not the only ministry that operates on a professional basis, and its general manager has no special standing. As in other ministries, it is their job to carry out policies established by the elected political echelon.
