Professors for a Strong Israel
Statement to the Press - 12 May 2005
Re: Our Israel Prizes
Professors for a Strong Israel congratulates this year's Israel Prize
laureates and recognizes their achievements.
We would add to their ranks Natan Sharansky, former minister for diaspora affairs;
Reuven Rivlin, chairman of the Knesset; and MK Uzi Landau and his associates,
all of whom have shown themselves faithful to the platform on which they were
elected, and all of whom are working hard to prevent the disastrous transfer
of the Jews of Gaza and Shomron. We are confident that the transfer will not take place,
and that next year's Israel Prize will indeed be awarded to them and to the
courageous residents of Gush Katif and of the Northern Shomron, who are defending
by their steadfastness the results of their life's work -- and of ours.
The transfer will not pass!!!
