Re: Mr. Sharon, you have no mandate

Professors for a Strong Israel reminds the Prime Minister that he was elected to fight Arafat's terror, not to enable Shimon Peres to continue collaborating with the enemy. The Prime Minister has no mandate to continue the dangerous policies of the architects of the Oslo War; his mandate is to win this war.

We deplore Peres' zealous pursuit of a meeting with the arch-terrorist and his concomitant readiness to sacrifice lives. Peres ignores the constant attacks on the Jews of Hevron, Gush Katif, and elsewhere, and thus endorses terrorism.

Israel's central contribution to the general war on terrorism, as well as to her own peace and security, must be the elimination of Arafat. Professors for a Strong Israel demands that the Prime Minister declare Arafat to be the enemy, and proceed accordingly.
