Most Honorable Prime Minister,

Allow me to thank you in the name of the hundreds of members of Professors for a Strong Israel for your enormous efforts on behalf of the People of Israel, the Land of Israel and the State of Israel.

The pressures brought to bear upon you immediately upon your being elected Prime Minister from all sides - internally, in the media and internationally - were unprecendented in the history of our country. In spite of these almost impossible circumstances you succeeded in keeping your promise to the people of Israel to bring security to our country. You opened the country to international markets and you guided the country towards a free economy. The quality of life of the vast majority of Israelis is today better then it has ever been.

Even if, as is natural, there were differences of opinion, we note with pride our commitment to your premiership and the support you received from hundreds of our members. We wholeheartedly hope that you will find the right way to continue serving the people of Israel and the State of Israel. Chazak Ve-ematz!
