Professors for a Strong Israel condemns the hypocrisy of extremist politicians of the Left who deny the right of Brigadier General Efi Eitam (Fein) to express his opinions.
They themselves made much political hay of the criticism voiced by senior officers against the political echelons during the Lebanon War.
We suggest paying attention to General Eitam's message, instead of focusing on the circumstances in which it was spoken.
We cannot understand why, during seven long years of the Oslo process, not a single senior officer of the IDF resigned in protest over the security risks created by the process.
We are disappointed that not a single officer put his career on the line in order to explain these dangers to the public and to warn against the destruction of the IDF's deterrent power.
