Re: Let him declare!
Professors for a Strong Israel calls on the Prime Minister not
to surrender parts of our homeland to the terrorists' leader, as
"payment" for a few months' postponement of his declaration of a
Palestinian State.
One can understand why the architects of the Oslo accords, who
encouraged exaggerated expectations on the enemy's side, call on Arafat
to postpone the declaration. The Prime Minister
is not bound by their considerations.
The Prime Minister should be making legal and
military preparations for immediate annexation of the Yesha territories, once
Arafat declares a state.
He should explain clearly that there is no intention of reconquering
the cities of Yesha, and thus defuse the Left's propaganda to the effect
that Netanyahu is leading us to bloodshed.
