Re: Against releasing terrorists
Professors for a Strong Israel warns against the severe repercussions of releasing imprisoned terrorists:
-
sending reinforcements to the terrorist organizations by the hundreds - including many who have been convicted by the courts;
-
showing disregard for the entire legal system - police, prosecution, and courts - which apprehended these terrorists and sentenced them long terms in prison;
-
destroying the willingness of policemen and soldiers to risk their lives in hunting these terrorists down, if after all they are to be released in the next political gesture towards the Palestinian Terror Authority.
And what is the government getting in return? Nothing. Not even a gesture from the countries that are apparently dictating the so-called peace process. What of Azzam Azzam? What of Jonathan Pollard? And they aren't even terrorists!
