Re: The Orr Commission and the police
The Orr Commission's attacks on the police are the ineluctable consequence of its biases, its procedure, and its very existence. After all, the commission is a vestige of Ehud Barak's flirtations with surrender. Professors for a Strong Israel regrets the damage to the image of the police, and hopes that their efficiency will not suffer. We trust that the next time that the citizens of Israel find their lives threatened by attacks from without and from within, the police will not hesitate to use all necessary force.
