Re: My father scourged you with whips, I will scourge you with scorpions
The Prime Minister has decided to continue in Yitzhak Rabin's dangerous policies and methods, namely, propagating the Oslo disaster with a minority government dependent on the Arab MK's. This strips the mask from his face and reveals to all his true features. Much like King Rehav'am, son of Solomon, Barak is saying, "My father scourged you with whips, I will scourge you with scorpions." The consequences are clear - the rending of the nation and the country - and must not be permitted to recur.
Professors for a Strong Israel welcomes Foreign Minister David Levy's decision to resign, and calls on the Prime Minister to follow Levy and resign as well.
We call on the National Camp to act now, not to wait three months - to act now to bring down the government even during the Knesset's summer recess.
They must gather round a single, strong candidate for Prime Minister and bring about a new Jewish and Zionist reawakening in Israel.
