Re: Breaking away from the herd

Professors for a Strong Israel supports those military and police officers who do their jobs responsibly and offer professional evaluations of the situation in Judea and Samaria, on the Lebanese border, and within the Arab sector of the citizenry. This situation is degenerating rapidly in the wake of the various policies that together send a signal of weakness and surrender by the Government. We deplore the Ministers' criticism of officers who offer realistic assessments that conflict with the false vision of peace. We expect a practical, not an ideological response to the warnings given by Police Cmdr. Alik Ron, commander of the Northern Region, regarding the extreme nationalism arising in the Arab sector. We reject attempts to silence him or to bring about his dismissal.
