Re: Funding for the settlements
The allocation of NIS 600 million to the settlements of Yesha (Judea, Samaria,
and
Gaza) in the 1997 budget is but a continuation of the policy of the previous
Government, not a reversal of it.
This approach is a surrender to the attempts of the extreme left to create
a division between the residents of development towns and the Jews of Yesha.
Professors for a Strong Israel demands a real change in the nation's order
of priorities.
