Statement to the Press - 5 October 2000

It is disgraceful that the Government needs to transport Jews between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion in convoys of armored buses as in 1948; that it accepts the fact that Gush Segev (in the heart of the Galilee!) is cut off from the rest of Israel for days on end; that soldiers of the IDF have their hands tied in ways that prevent them from doing their jobs; that the Government ignores the simple fact that
